The cultural center "Alter Schlachthof" in Soest is a socio-cultural center with an old-industrial charm. There is a full load of culture here: concerts, comedy, cabaret, theatre, cabaret and cinema.

The Friedenskirche in Hemmingen-Arnum was built in 1990/91 and is one of the youngest church buildings in Germany. In addition to church life, culture also lives here.

The Metropolis cinema has been a program cinema in Hamburg since 1956. The Kinemathek Hamburg e.V. shows an incredible firework of film art, film history and experiments in a beautiful 1950s cinema with 270 seats.

The Nolte brewery in Lueneburg has been in the family since 1906. In 1953, the hall was leased to a men's outfitter, who converted it into the "Roxy" cinema. In 1965 the cinema closed again. Now the legendary Roxy cinema returns with the series "Return Of The Roxy". In keeping with the regional dishes in the Nolte, special emphasis on showcasing regional filmmakers. There is also an introduction to the film by Andreas Thedens (Damn Fine Club Of Cinema) and last but definitely not least the delicious home brewed Nolte beer.

The artists Margarete Petersen and Dietmar Buchmann founded the Atelierhaus Lichtenberg in an old restaurant in the Wendland, a workshop with ballroom and stage, exhibitions, events, workshops and symposiums.
